Cleaning and treating spills promptly will give you a better chance or getting the spill out of your carpet. Always follow your manufactures guide when treating the stain.

with regular vacuuming, soil particles and oils will cling to the carpet
fibers. With foot traffic these soil particles and oils are driven
deep into the carpet. We recommend professional hot water extraction
every 12 to 18 months. Periodic cleaning, using the hot water extraction
method performed by a professional cleaner, will refresh your carpets
appearance. The most used areas, such as entrances, doorways, traffic
lanes, and in front of couches and chairs will soil faster than other
areas. Clean these areas as they begin to show soiling. This will stop
the soil from spreading and extend the time between professional cleaning.
